NUTEC Group Announces New President for NUTEC’s Fibers Division

Effective 1 May 2023, NUTEC Group appointed Gerardo Muraira as its new President, Fibers Division. For nearly eight years previously, Gerardo headed up the group’s North American subsidiary, NUTEC Inc.

Gerardo commented: “I know this appointment carries great responsibility – I am very happy and eager to get working with it all, and I’m relishing this new challenge. The NUTEC ethos is based on being a strongly customer-driven organization that responds both rapidly and flexibly, always aiming to exceed our customers’ expectations. Without a doubt we have a great team, and I’m confident of continuing success in this journey.”

Gerardo first joined NUTEC back in 1997, and has had leadership roles with NUTEC Bickley, NUTEC Fibratec, and NUTEC Inc. He holds an MBA in International Business and a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. He also completed an executive management program at IPADE Business School.

NUTEC Fibers Division has plants in Mexico, USA, Spain and Brazil, employs close to 700 people, and has clocked up over 45 years as a respected supplier of a wide range of high-temperature insulation products and solutions to meet the most demanding thermal challenges.
