Flexibility is a watchword here at NUTEC Procal. One of our principal advantages is that we can make new and diverse product formulations very rapidly. After developmental work by our expert team, we can test material behaviours in house, using our own well-equipped laboratory.

The results of these intense efforts have led to a number of notable, high performing products.

SILFORM 1300, for instance, is an improved silica and mullite fibre mix, especially suited to the latest generation of condensing boilers – both domestic and small industrial. We supply the majority of European manufacturers in this sector. Answering the need for even higher temperatures we have SILFORM 1600, made using a mullite-rich formulation. This is a strong contender for use in industrial electric ovens.

Meanwhile, our latest line – SILFORM H2 – has been developed to offer the ideal partner product for hydrogen firing systems, such as proposed for Green Steel, where efforts are increasingly being made to replace fossil fuels. This has proved again that we work closely with other innovators and make a strong contribution to future increases in thermal efficiency, while effectively addressing environmental needs.
